Эксперт в подводной археологии с многолетним стажем работы.
Окончил в 1994 г. Московский государственный университет им. М.В. Ломоносова.
Участник экспедиций ЦЕИ РАН в Александрии и в Мемфисе, экспедиции Европейского института подводной археологии (IEASM) в Александрии и в заливе Абукир. C 2016 г. участник плаваний исторической реплики фрегата XVIII в. «Гермиона».
Область научных интересов: древнее кораблестроение, древнеегипетское кораблестроение, древнее мореплавание и морская торговля, подводная археология, древние кораблекрушения.
